Publishing Ethics

Open Access Policy and Close Access Policy

Under the Open Access Policy, articles published in the Journal may be made freely accessible to readers through the official website or designated publication platforms. The purpose of this model is to promote wider dissemination of legal research and to encourage knowledge sharing among scholars, academicians, legal practitioners, and students across different jurisdictions. Open Access publications may be subject to publication or processing charges as determined by the Journal from time to time.
Under the Closed Access Policy, certain manuscripts may be published without any publication charges from the author. However, such publications may be maintained under restricted or controlled access as determined by the Editorial Board. Closed Access publications may be made available through internal archives, institutional circulation, or limited distribution for academic and research purposes.
The decision regarding whether a manuscript is published under Open Access or Closed Access shall be determined in accordance with the policies of the Journal and the administrative framework established by the Editorial Board.

Publication Frequency

Nyayasetu follows a structured publication schedule intended to ensure regular dissemination of high-quality legal scholarship. The Journal publishes one annual volume each year, containing selected research papers, dissertations, and thesis submissions accepted through the editorial and peer review process.
The annual volume of the Journal shall be published on the 4th of February every year. All manuscripts received during the submission period are reviewed in accordance with the Journal’s editorial and peer review procedures before being considered for publication in the respective volume.
The Journal may also publish special issues, thematic editions, or supplementary publications where the Editorial Board considers it appropriate to address emerging legal developments, contemporary legal debates, or interdisciplinary research themes.
The publication schedule may be updated or revised by the Editorial Board where necessary in order to maintain the quality and academic standards of the Journal.

Digital Preservation Policy

Nyayasetu is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of scholarly content published through the Journal. In order to safeguard academic research and maintain the integrity of the published record, the Journal adopts appropriate digital preservation practices.
All accepted and published manuscripts shall be maintained within the official digital archives of Nyayasetu , ensuring that research papers, dissertations, thesis submissions, and other scholarly materials remain available for future academic reference, citation, and scholarly use.
