Advocate Yash Lotlikar holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property Law from Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai, and a B.L.S./LL.B. degree from the University of Mumbai. He has also completed specialised academic training through diplomas and certifications in Intellectual Property Law, Cyber Law, Data Protection Law, Arbitration Law and practice, Mediation Law, Money Laundering and Crypto Assets, and Indian Constitutional Jurisprudence, enabling a multidisciplinary and contemporary approach to legal practice.
He holds a valid Intellectual Property Attorney Code, authorising him to act, file, appear, and conduct proceedings relating to Intellectual Property Rights registrations and allied matters, including Trademarks, Copyrights, Industrial Designs, and Geographical Indications, before the competent statutory authorities. His intellectual property practice includes registration, prosecution, oppositions, rectifications, renewals, compliance, enforcement actions, infringement proceedings, and associated civil and criminal litigation. He also advises on intellectual property management, commercialisation, and regulatory compliance for domestic and international clients, subject to applicable legal frameworks.
In criminal law, Advocate Yash Lotlikar represents clients in criminal trials, anticipatory and regular bail applications, criminal complaints, FIR-related proceedings, revisions, quashing petitions, and criminal appeals. He is authorised to appear and practice as he uphold advocate code before the Original Side of the Hon’ble Bombay High Court as well as the Bombay City Civil and Sessions Courts, and other competent courts and forums. His criminal practice is guided by constitutional principles, due process, and effective legal representation.
Advocate Yash Lotlikar is a Member of WIPO ADR Young and a signatory to the WIPO Mediation Pledge for IP and Technology Disputes, and is associated with the Mumbai Centre for International Arbitration (MCIA). He is also a member of the Bombay Bar Association, the Advocates’ Association of Western India, and the Bombay City Civil & Sessions Court Bar Association.
